1. What is the best time to visit Meghalaya?

    Meghalaya offers different experiences throughout the year. Monsoon is ideal for powerful waterfalls and misty scenery, while the drier months are more suitable for outdoor activities and clearer river conditions.

2. How many days are recommended?

    A five-day trip covers the main highlights. Six or seven days provide a more relaxed experience and allow additional waterfalls, caves and Jaintia Hills locations.

3. Does the tour start from Shillong or Guwahati?

     Packages can start from either location, but most tours include pickup and drop from Guwahati.

4. Are Dawki boating and water activities always available?

     No. Boating and river activities depend on weather, water level, visibility and local operating conditions.

5. Are caves safe to visit?

    Popular caves can be visited with proper footwear and reasonable care. More difficult caves require local guides, safety equipment and suitable weather conditions.

6. Are waterfall treks difficult?

    Difficulty varies. Some waterfalls are easily accessible, while others require steep or slippery trails.

7. Is the itinerary customisable?

    Yes. The route can be adjusted according to interests, available days, budget and travel pace.

14. Can the itinerary change?

      Weather, rainfall, road conditions, landslides, traffic and local restrictions may require changes.
